My passion for music started at an early age upon purchasing my very first piece of music with my pocket money, it was a tape by Guns 'N' Roses - Appetite for destruction. Since my initial purchase my collection has vastly expanded to include over 1000 CD's. My dreams of becoming a rock star were swiftly cut down by my inability to play any instrument, I was always handed either the triangle or the shaker in music class and if I was lucky sometimes the flute. Even instruments this simple had disastrous outcomes in my hands. But my determination would not be stopped there; I knew I had a place in music because my passion was too strong. Having strong abilities in business I eventually became an Accountant and proceeded to combine my abilities in business with my passion for music, and somewhere along the way managed to make my hobby of collecting CD's tax deductible. Since the age of 14 I have spent countless hours attending live performances ranging from large festivals such as the Big Day Out, Homebake, Vans Warped Tour, Soundwave Festival and more recently the Coachella festival in California to small gigs at the Annandale, Candy's, The Metro, Gaelic Club etc and have been witness to some of the greatest performances in the last 12 years. Having many friends in the music industry I was always exposed to the politics of the industry and didn't like what I was seeing. A fire was ignited within me after seeing many great performances by artists who eventually give up because some corporate know it all wont give them a go, so I decided to do something about this and started Rockin The Shed.
