Rockhounder...collector of all things rock, mineral and fossil. Also through my rock club have garnered many lapidary skills to make beautiful baubles. The word rockhound was coined by oil workers who would see geologists licking rocks and smelling them. They said they were as good as hound dogs for tracking down their prey.

Now a camera competes with the rocks for my attention when out exploring. Interesting to walk around now sometimes and look down for rocks and up for photos....back down for rocks and back up for photos...mix and repeat.

Age: Aged to perfection (way over 18, alright).

Where do I begin, that he is a sensational photographer just finding his wings, and on the verge of flying onto the marvelous scape of professionalism? That he is one of the most determined photographers I have ever been shooting with to get "that shot" just "perfect"! That he loves, loves, his new camera, and is constantly striving to learn more about it and himself, and their workings together. He is the ultimate photographer in the making, and he is my friend, and he has taught me about the adventure of photo taking, and I owe him my experience here on Flickr. Oh! Also, I am proud that he calls me friend, And he really is a marvelous Rock Hounder! billiefromthebeach
