I studied photography at Scottsdale Community College in the late 90s using a Canon SLR and, later, a Hasselblad 501C medium format camera. Since the advent of digital photography I have switched to digital SLRs (no muss no fuss). I am 78 years old and though I am healthy and able to get around (I do often go on not-too-hard hikes), I tire carrying tripod and other accessories, therefore I now only shoot hand-held.

My interests cover the gamut but I seem to gravitate most to landscape and street (people) images though my more recent endeavors include photo kaleidoscopes, most of which are created from rock or bark closeups.
