Because beneath the witticisms and sarcasm is an underlying fondness established a long time ago in some bar I have forgotten. Robin is just the epitome of femininity, and also a lovely, gorgeous, dinner date. We had shared a correspondence through emails, getting to know each other better. I totally understood her process, "Rules" as Robyn refers to them. I wanted to make sure Robyn knew that she had nothing to fear. I wont lie, I was nervous, VERY nervous when we met face to beautiful face. Robyn was so very warm and understanding, enabling me to put aside any anxiety I may have had. I knew from her photos Robyn was a lady of beauty, class and style, and treated her as such. You see, it was my intention from the start to make sure Robyn enjoyed her evening as much as I did. I did all the things I thought she would enjoy from reading her posts, and diary entries. I saw to it that there was soft music, candles, and as corny as it sounds, I brought Robyn a box of chocolates. After all, it was a first date, I wanted to make a good impression! All in all, it couldn't have gone any better, we seemed to click from the start. I think its wonderful when two people can meet and after a few hours, feel the chemistry that some people work years to establish. Our only problem is distance. I know it may be some time, but I hope to see Robyn again. If for whatever reason this isn't possible, it will be a memory I will ALWAYS cherish!
