I have found myself too impatient to paint an entire painting - yet I'll still have the idea swirling around forever. Doodles and drawings aren't polished enough for my ideas either. Over the last year I started picking up my camera and dreaming in pictures. I have finally found a clean polished, immediate way to capture my ideas.

When I moved to Oklahoma City from San Francisco, I begged my Dad to take us home. I was in shock, and I hated everything. Two reasons - I was a lousy teenager, and... well... yeah, that was it, really... When I got older, sadly buried my father, got married, and bought a house... I remember driving and had noticed that one of those old vintage signs I had always used as a landmark was gone. I was strangely sad about it. I thought about it for months - really I did - I finally realized that this was home and I loved the details I saw. I wanted to get their pictures before they're all gone, and the charm that I have fallen in love with disappears. I hope that you find joy within these photos, and remember that OKC is home.
