I have been into "art " since I was a year old. My father used to draw fire trucks for me while I was on his lap. After a while I began to draw them myself. I took all the art classes in school all the way through high school. I quit high school in the 11th grade and went to work in factories, all the while just putzing in "art". Fast forward 20 years. 1996 I went back to get my GED while taking Advertising and Design classes at Careerline Tech Center. After completing my GED, I enrolled at Kendall College of Art & Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I took classes part-time (40 hour work weeks and kids every other weekend). It took me 10 years to complete but finally received my BA in illustration in the fall of 2006. My art comes out in many forms, depending on the day. Photography, watercolor, recycled metal sculpting and woodworking.
