Matriculated Grey High School, Port Elizabeth. National Service - 6 SAI, Grahamstown. Studied at Rhodes University, Grahamstown. Worked for the Cape Provincial Library Service, based in Grahamstown. Thereafter at the University of Fort Hare in Alice between 1990 and 2006. Moved to Denver in May 2006 to join my wife here.
