Enjoying a full time profession I don't have as much time as I would like to take pictures. In 2007 after an agonizing hesitation I switched to digital photography and purchased a Nikon D200 camera body and eventually a couple of lenses, including Nikon 16-35mm/4 G, 50mm/1.8 G, 85mm/1.4 G and Nikon 80-200mm/2.8. Still using my beloved old manual focus Nikon lenses (28mm/2.8, 35mm/2.8, 50mm/2, 85mm/2, 105mm/2.8 micro). Introducing digital photography opened a whole new world for artistic expression. I am taking advantage of the new technology and don't look back. Later I added a Gitzo G 1345 Mk2 tripod and a Kirk BH-3 ballhead to my arsenal. Mastering Photoshop, printing techniques and picture framing might be the next challenge...sometime in the future.

Recently I became interested in the magic and endless possibilities of black and white photography.

Informative critics, observations and comments about my shots are very welcome. I learned a lot studying and analyzing my fellow Flickr Members' pictures. I met a number of very talented fellow photographers on this amazing site.
