I have extensive knowledge and experience of winter sports and have been qualified to instruct and teach Alpine Skiing for over 20 years.

For several years I was a professional freestyle skier, competing in Freeride & Freestyle competitions throughout the world. I am also an experienced off-piste or backcountry skier. I also love to Telemark and enjoy ski touring.

Ski resorts where I have lived, worked and skied include, Verbier, in Switzerland, Chatel, Chamonix, Les Orres, in France, Queenstown, in New Zealand and Aveimore, in Scotland. Other notable ski destinations include many of the ski resorts in Norway, Sweden, Italy, France, Switzerland, Austria, New Zealand and Scotland.

I have been a contributor to various publications including The Metro (‘Improve Your Snowledge’ November 2007), and an advisor to the media on ski related issues including The London Evening Standard.
