Jazz masters of the '60s

Welcome!

Here you can see my "ancient:" (50+ years ago!) jazz photos.

From 1962 (when I was 16) to the mid '70s I was lucky to photograph the most important jazz musicians of the time. A selection of these images have been shown in more than 25 exhibitions in Italy and in the United States, and collected in a photographic books, "Swing, Bop & Free" , which also cointains texts by my father Arrigo , who was a well known jazz critic and historician.

A permanent exibition of my jazz images can be seen in the Fortezza Medicea in Siena, at the Fondazione Siena Jazz , where there is a Center of Jazz Studies dedicated to the memory of my father.
