Hi,

I have taken early retirement and thus have plenty of time for my photographic career. Currently, I am working on a book, actually two books. I started taking photos when I was about 6 years old, 49 years ago. My Mother was a big fan and she got me interested. I think my first camera was one of her old ones, called a “box” camera. In the recent past (30 years back) my best camera was Nikon, “Nikkormat”. In its day it was thought of as a very good inexpensive Nikon. A few of the photos I have posted are scanned copies taken with this Nikon. But most of the photos on Flickr are taken with my OLYMPUS. Most all of my photos are taken in the wild, no zoos, plant nurseries or botanical gardens. I have gone to Canon for better results.
