Hello, I'm Robert Jayden Martin!
Poet, writer, recent photo amateur~
The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

June 2013 It has been said, repeatedly; True friends are hard to come by… When I first met you (Long ago…) we clicked for some reason. When I see your gallery; your attention to details; your care to post only what you consider your best; reminds me “Quality in every phase of life is not dead” at times, your posts remind me of days long gone; especially, some of the images taken under your fine eye for family life perspective! Your point of view is unique; poetic one day; innovative the next. Never dull or boring. I wish others ‘d to see what I see in your gallery Robert… Friendship can be rewarding and long lasting when we take a chance and invest on people as you have. The only way for you to find a true friend - stop searching for it and let them come to you instead. Join an activity where you can at least meet like-minded folks who share the same beliefs and values in life. Just like love, you have to take some chances with people. You just have to trust your gut feelings who to trust and let (God) or pray for good people to come into your way. I think the best of friends you can have is your own family :) They know your good and bad sides and loving you for who you are unconditionally. :) Glad to have met you and have you as part of my family… E

When I look at your gallery, an obvious aspect becomes apparent; you are a positive individual! I like people who have a positive perspective about life. It is obvious in every frame of your collection Robert. I have enjoyed very much visiting your gallery Robert; my best to you, hope others will see what I can see in every post~ Nice things, mind you, needn't be flattery or exaggeration. Whatever you tell your friend from the bottom of your heart will be welcomed with appreciation and love.

. Seeing-browsing Robert's gallery is like seeing under a positive magnified glass! Like reading poetry with a friend with whom you feel comfortable. Like visiting your buddy while enjoying a nice glass of wine all the while browsing his family album full of beautiful photos each depicting a passage in his ever growing horizon... I think of a song when I see your photos my friend... Traffic crawls, cell phone calls Talk radio screams at me Through my tinted window I see A little girl, rust red minivan She's got chocolate on her face Got little hands, and she waves at me Yeah, she smiles at me Hello world How've you been? Good to see you, my old friend Sometimes I feel cold as steel Broken like I'm never gonna heal I see a light, a little hope In a little girl Hello world Every day I drive by A little white church It's got these little white crosses Like angels in the yard Maybe I should stop on in Say a prayer Maybe talk to God Like he is there Oh I know he is there Yeah, I know he's there Hello world How've you been? Good to see you, my old friend Sometimes I feel as cold as steel And broken like I'm never going to heal I see a light A little grace, a little faith unfurled Hello world Sometimes I forget what living's for And I hear my life through my front door And I'll be there Oh I'm home again I see my wife, my little boy, little girl Hello world Hello world All the empty disappears I remember why I'm here Just surrender and believe I fall down on my knees Oh hello world Hello world Hello world I hope you visit his gallery; stay a while and get to know the man as I do... .

March 2013 . I always think of Robert as a poet in the making; a person who loves life and is not afraid to write about it in great details. Sometimes the writings are visual which I love. Sometimes he does it in color which is my fav aspect of his gallery... To you and for you a thousand cheers Robert; a poem too... A friend is someone, Who can look into our soul, A kind and loving spirit, That always seems to know, When we need comfort and love, Or the care and support, Of a warm and gentle hug A friend is someone, That we hold dear, A whisper of hope in our heart, That guides us through our fear A friend is a gift, A blessing without measure, A source of unyielding strength, In which we find great pleasure. The key to friendship Is not in the hand you hold But how you hold the hand It’s not in the tears you dry But all the reasons why It’s not how you make a person smile But whether or not it’s worthwhile It’s not in the conversation But in the way you listen It’s not in the laughter But what comes before but everything after The key to friendship Is not in two people relating But in two hearts communicationg Thank you for being that special friend Who understands the key to friendship And how to unlock everything within . .
