I have just started a BA in Photography at Carlisle University.

I decided to concentrate on photography as this has been the thread connecting my involvement in the arts. I have used it as a tool during the creative process, as part of the finished piece and / or as a record of the completed project.

My interest and focus is changing as I become more involved in photography as a stand alone art form. I love landscape, but intimate landscape that takes you to the dark hidden places, hence the ‘Underworld’ series.

I’m looking forward to the new challenges that the degree course will present and the growth that will take place in me as an artist but also as a person as a result.
