I am a nature and wildlife photographer focusing my eye on the beauty of our natural world. Through my lens, I attempt to conceive a respect and admiration for nature and this world given to us. Using my camera as my journal, I intend on documenting my journey through this land while capturing images of different species of wildlife and promoting their natural environment. Wildlife has its own way of asking us to once again take care of it.

Prior to becoming a wildlife photographer I began in animal tracking, as I spent all of my days in the forest as a mineral prospector in New Brunswick, Canada. During this time and with the abundance of animal activity surrounding me, photographing animal tracks and signs evolved into photographing the animal itself. Prospecting land for minerals became a thing of my past while tracking and photographing wildlife continued to be a part of my daily routines. Photography began, and remains today, a key tool in understanding animal movements and identification markings when researching different areas of habitat. In the past I have worked closely with different conservation and data collecting organizations that many times rely on images portraying certain ID characteristics. Photographs play a large role when recording sightings in the field so they can be properly documented, and this continues to be the main reason I most always have my camera on my back. From here I began traveling throughout the world recording bird species and photographing wildlife. Over the years I have had the pleasure of demonstrating through imagery the way pollination works with the pollinators to providing educational groups in Africa with photographs of the wildlife they are educating people to protect. This is where photography started for me. Work outside of photography has been spent in custom woodworking and session bass playing throughout the maritime provinces.
