I enjoy images that do more than preserve a moment. I want them to stir emotions as well. While social media pics have their place in today’s world, I'm more into nuances of light, focus, composition, and depth of feeling. I'm genuinely enthusiastic about sharing images, especially ones capturing the serenity of an ocean sunrise or other splendors of our natural and man-made world. Drawing a viewer into the frame to join the moment is a pivotal goal. Whenever I can achieve that, I’m a happy camper.

For me, good photography is an art form that honors a time-proven maxim: “You don’t take a photo, you make it.” Extraordinary images don’t typically happen by accident. They take work. And planning. I enjoy working at the art of image making and appreciate the dedication of others who do the same. It’s like being on one big train of interest. Everyone’s invited to hop aboard.
