I take lots of shots, occasionally a good one - mostly I hit the delete key. I take them because I can't draw.

What have i learned to date:

"Each day is a new canvas to paint upon. Make sure your picture is full of life and happiness, and at the end of the day you don't look at it and wish you had painted something different."

Gems often shine brighter when placed against a dull background, and partly bring extra reality to the situation, so it feels truer. The answer every photographer is searching for will not be found in a new software solution - they get dated - people look back at them and smile, sympathetically. The dull canvas is painted with a billion photos on flickr, may yours shine like gems.

I am always delighted if you post comments - but, if you invite me to post on a site where I am obligated to comment on lots of shots, I will probably not, sorry... it can get very time consuming, so don't get offended and ban me.

Oh, I've left the EXIF data on display if you need any advice.

I am not fussed if you want to post my stuff on your site, but please give me a mention (web site - not must my name). If you want to steal my photos, help yourself, there's 6 billion on FB, 1 billion on Flickr, most of them better than mine....

"not that good but hope to improve".... who's he trying to kid!? Rob has not been taking photographs for very long yet his output is consistently of the highest quality and he just goes from strength to strength. He'll spot the best angle in any scene - very annoying ;) Rob is also one of those people who will be innocently photographing something with the camera all set up, just as a golden eagle, a jet fighter, a "flying saucer shaped" kite, a multi-coloured hang-glider or Superman just happen to fly through the shot - in perfect composition. It gives me great pleasure to be the first to congratulate him on his continuing success and high quality imagery, in his first Flickr testimonial. Keep it up chap.
