I have been a keen photographer for many years and in particular airshow and aviation photography. My first airshow was with my late father in 1982 when he took me to Greenham Common for the International Air Tattoo. It was my Dad's influence and inspiration to take up photography as a hobby when I was a child.
My profile photo of the Red Arrows is one taken by my Dad and is from his vast collection of aviation photos.
My first SLR was a Pentax P30T which was a 21st birthday present by my parents and I have been using Pentax SLRs ever since.
My current equipment includes a Pentax DSLR and an assortment of Pentax & third-party lenses.
I hope you enjoy looking at my images.

When we first started planning our wedding, I knew that choosing a photographer would be an important decision. I wanted someone that would be able to capture some great pictures of my husband to be and I being as natural as we could be, as I didn't want to 'posed' photos that many people choose to go for. Having known rob for a couple of years, and his interest and standard of photography, he was my first choice. I would like to make it clear though, that we didn't use Rob because he was a friend and was doing it for us at a discounted rate, we choose him because we knew his photographs were good. My husband had never met Rob prior to him coming over to discuss what we wanted, and commented on how nice, and relaxed and confident he was. This is why we were happy for us to be the first wedding that Rob had photographed. We are both extremely happy with the photographs Rob took, especially the shots of us on our own out in the snow, and some of the church shots captured were amazing, especially as he wasn't allowed to use a flash. Not only did Rob come to our home on several occasions to talk to us, he also put the extra effort in by visiting the church and venue on several occasions, to research the best places for photographs to be taken, as you can see in some of his pre-wedding photo's. I would not hesitate to recommend Rob (and Jenny) for a wedding. Both are fantastic to work with, and Rob's pictures speak for themselves.

I had been thinking of leaving a testimonial for RM Bright ever since he introduced me to the beauty of air-show photography, but kept on delaying it for later and later and now he has antecipated me leaving a very generous testimonial on my site, for which I thank him a lot. I have known him for a while now ever since we have been chatting on the Pentax forum and have noticed his passion for photography. In the past few months I have seen also his artistic side developing tremendously and he has produced some stunning portraits and landscapes too. I have to thank him for his comments and views on my images which are a great help for improving my art and particularly for introducing me to the fascinating side of air-show photography and I definitely have caught the bug, RM Bright is a very talented photographer and its always a pleasure to explore his photo album with the images he produces. I will be looking forward to some more air-shows with him and if I can get close to some of the stunning air-show images he has produced I will be a happy man :).
