Five random things about yours truly...

1.. Name's Ryan, but I seem to have gravitate myself towards nicknames (somewhere deep down, I don't think I've ever felt like a "Ryan"). I've been called Louie, Pinocchio, Rye Guy, Batman, Maverick, The Mailman, Fenway, Famous, and Hatter. Around here, folks call me McNeil.

2. I am obsessively geeky about far too many topics. I'm a movie geek, music geek, book geek, TV geek, vinyl geek, pop culture geek, sports geek, comic geek, tech geek, web geek, and food geek. Oh...and I'm also a photo geek.

3.. My lifelong dream has been to have a photo published in Rolling Stone. Right behind that would be to one day take batting practice at Fenway Park.

4. i have a strange memory for images. You could ask me to review a report, and fifteen minutes later I'll forget the conversation. However, show me a photograph and I will never forget having seen it. The only thing that trumps that, is my memory for photographs I have taken. I might have shot it, printed it, and put it in a drawer. But ten years later you could mix it into a stack of fity other photos - I'll still remember having shot it.

5. I have a taste for the details. I could be staring at the most glorious landscape you'd ever see - you're still likely to find me taking a close up shot of a rock. Not sure what it is about the details that fascinates me so much...one of these days I'll have to figure that out.
