The images I post here of flora, fauna, landscapes and other non-human subjects are licensed using the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike Generic (CC BY-SA) license, so if you see anything you like with that licence, feel free to use it as you wish. Please note however, that any images with people in the frame may not be so liberally licensed. Any images including family, friends, fellow club members or other acquaintances of mine may well be licensed under more restrictive terms, so please check :-)

I live in Dorset in England and at the time of writing most of my photos here on flickr, particularly of wildlife, were taken in this area. These days I'm shooting with Fujifilm kit. The "Pro" label next to my account name simply indicates that I've paid for extra Flickr storage space, it doesn't imply that I am a professional photographer or regard myself as having the talent required to be one. For personal reasons I had been striving to use only free (as in speech) software, including tools such as darktable, RawTherapee, the Hugin suite, and other programs and applications besides. However, the lure of Capture One and its optimized processing of Fujifilm RAW files turned out to be too great and so I've ended up building a Windows PC dedicated to running that software and any other proprietary photo editing tools I might need.
