Hello and thank you for the visit. A few years ago, I thought I might try my hand at some artwork. After forty years of being a photographer (mostly film), I watched the vast majority of my fine Nikon cameras and equipment become decorations. With the advent of new technology, everybody in the known world is now a photographer of sorts. I thought I might take advantage of some of this new technology and without any formal schooling in art, I have become an artist of sorts. Some of the skills I learned in photography school and the many years in the trade have helped with my artwork. The rest of it comes from being inspired by artists of all levels, many right here on Flickr.

All of my images are original and are created from blank, from my design work or from my photography. All of my images are protected by copyright. No image, all or in part, shall be copied in any manner whatsoever without expressed written permission.

This is my second time around on Flickr. I was forced to cut my first visit short because I could not keep up with the demands of many groups that require multiple comments or awards. Bottom line is that I get around to the best of my ability and I view and comment as my time allows. I do not have hours per day to spend on Flickr and I may have to turn down invitations to groups that make these demands. I do need time to work and I don’t mean to offend any groups or administrators.

Please don’t make a habit of picking faves if you have nothing to offer in return. Violators will be blocked. I select my favorites by theme and I like to view them as a slideshow to provide inspiration. Just because you are not included today doesn't mean that you are being ignored.

I do enjoy viewing the fine work of other artists and photographers while on these pages and I leave with a feeling of satisfaction. Hopefully I have created a few images that leave you satisfied.
