Hi .. I am Suvarna

I love sewing, quilting, appliqué, embroidery, basically I have done a little of everything.

I enjoy making handmade gifts and making new friends. I am kindof getting addicted to quilting and sewing related swaps. I have done few of them already and enjoyed alot. I am an intermediate sewer/quilter.... And I enjoy what I make. I like to collect little gadgets for my sewing room... I like pins and pincushions ALOT I collect mugs, candle holders, bags..... Over a year I accumulated lots of fabric and tools ;)

Tools I like the most

Novelty pins, binding clips, small rulers, embroidery tools, fabric precuts, yo yo makers.

Things I like on my quilts

Houses, butterflies,peacocks,owls, Appliqued flowers, birds, dresdens :-)

I have a wonderful husband and 2 naughty boys ages 11 and 7. They keep me busy all the time. However I try to find some time for my cute hobby when my kids are at school.

As I said I like novelty pins and pincushions and I keep them in my sewing room all the time. Till now I haven't found any color that I didn't like. Basically I love all the colors especially,

pinks browns together, blues tans and browns together,

red and aquas, pink and green combo, I like text prints, linen, designers and novelty prints. not a fan of old style small print florals, civilwar reproductions.

spring is my favorite season of all.
