I have been a Canon shooter for a while (back when there were only SLRs, and mirrorless digital cameras were just point-and-shoot). I don't really miss the days of being in a darkroom or developing a roll of 36 to get one good shot.

Digital photography allows me to see instantly what I'm doing in the studio. I mainly use strobes or speedlights---I can't get the sharpness or vivid colours with natural light. I use Canon and Yongnuo speedlights with radio triggers. I also just bought the Godox AD 200 strobe/speedlight, so you should expect to see more photos in the photostream as I play with this awesome unit.

Photography is a hobby, and when I find some free time, I do love to tinker in the studio, or to drag some lights with me to photograph in and around beautiful Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

I try to get most of my images correct in camera. When I process my files, I'll tweak the exposure and colour to emulate Kodachrome 25 or 64. While I don't miss paying for all that film and processing, I do miss the look of it. Photos that are straight out of camera are tagged SOOC.
