I've always liked to shoot pictures. With film though you shot it and hoped for the best. Editing photos was not really possible. And the cost of film was not cheap either.

I was an early adopter of digital. Got my first camera in 1998. The Sony Mavica. Awesome little gem. While everyone was struggling to get their pictures off their camera, I just took out the floppy disk and put it in anyone's computer. Remember floppy disks?

Once I did digital, with it's zero cost shooting and editing capabilities, I was completely hooked and have been shooting lots and lots since.

You'll notice in my stream that I shoot everything. I try not to make snapshots though, even with the simpliest subjects. I want to add something special to the image. Hopefully you'll enjoy the majority of the touchups.
