I've always had an interest in photography since I was a teenager but never pursued it. All that changed in 2008 when I started to look at my kids photographs taken by point and shoot cameras and comparing those images with the ones from the flickr community. I then realized that I've been missing something. I've been missing an SLR camera and the know how.

 

I started my learning journey in October 2008 when I purchased my first DSLR, the Nikon D90. I took an intro to photography course and then my interest grew even further.

As a 2009 Christmas gift I went out and purchased the Nikon D300 and sold the D90. I then took a studio lighting course to learn the basics on using strobes.
