I began to fall in love with photography back in 2000 when I got my own SLR--a Konica-Minolta Maxxum 5 film with its 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 kit lens. Added the Sigma 100-300mm f4-6.7 telephoto to complement my other lens. With the dawn of digital photography, my film gear started to go higher and higher in my closet (i.e. it's being used less often). Got my first digital camera--Olympus C7040UZ back in 2003, and it still works up till this day!

My first digital SLR is the Pentax K10D which I got in 2007, complemented by the DA 18-250mm f3.5-5.6, the SMCP FA 50mm f1.4, and the SMCP FA 35mm f2.0 primes all from Pentax.

Loves to drive and travel to faraway places. Most of those places are here in my adopted country. I am always drawn towards taking nature subjects(waterfalls, sunlight/sunset, landscapes, sky), architecture, night photography, low-light/long exposures, daily scenes, memorable events and some people portraits. The last one I'm still working on it. Have to overcome shyness.
