I have a collection of vintage 1:43 and 1:36 scale die cast cars mainly Dinky Toys, Corgi Toys, Spot On Tri-ang and Tekno models. The majority I have restored to original, two tones and custom works. I have been collecting and restoring these scales since 2003. I never modify the body to extreme unless the body are truely damaged by early playwear. If the model does not have screws, I do carefully disassemble the entire model by drilling our the center of the posts through the base plate and size it for the replacement precision "rivet" that replaces the mushroom cast. Hence the name but I am really a king of nothing! I chemically or sand blast the casting removing all old paint, I will remove and flaws in the die-cast, prime, re-paint and re-assemble. I do try to use as many if not all of the original parts for these restorations. Scuffed scratched and dulled window units can be restored to new in many cases. Future restorations and or originals maybe featured and not in order on Flickr include the following:

- Spot On Land Rover in gray with white top.

- Cragstan Detroit Sr. Oldsmobile Toronado in silver.

- Mebetoys Rolls Royce Silver Shadow in silver.

- Dinky Rolls Royce Phantom V, colors TBD.

- Dinky Ford GT, color TBD.

- Corgi MGC GT hunder green.

- Corgi Batmobile.

- Dinky Mercedes 220SE, Black and Yellow.
