I am a simple nature lover, who likes bird watching, fungi and lichen hunting, insect spotting and animal watching.

When I first joined Flickr I was very fortunate to be living in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex, which was a great base from which to explore some of Essex's most beautiful countryside, and where I could walk along part of the River Crouch most days!

In February 2020 I relocated to Suffolk, and I now live in Ipswich, and I am blessed to have easy access to the amazing Suffolk countryside and coast!

Thank you to everyone who takes an interest in my pictures, and especially to those contacts who help me find an ID for the hard to identify flora and fauna I manage to capture!
