I enjoy combining photography and automobile road trips. The best road trips are on 2-lane roads, driving a fast car and carrying a camera with a fast lens.

My strongest photographic interest lies in capturing America's disappearing urban environs and rural landscapes.

Because most of my photography is during automobile road trips, I photograph what I can, when I can. I take the best photograph I can under conditions existing when I am at a location. I call it "available image" photography. I rarely plan in advance or wake-up early to photograph at sunrise.
