My designs are inspired by my large collection of vintage costume jewelry that I have been fortunate to have assembled over the past number of years. My pieces often pay tribute to vintage Chanel, vintage Napier, flapper necklaces from the 20s, brass Czech bib necklaces from the 30s, and rhinestone and plastic jewelry from the 50s. All handmade and assembled, my jewelry is unusual in that many pieces are sometimes bolder and more whimsical than the average piece of contemporary costume jewelry. I create my pieces using vintage chain and components, glass beads, plastic beads, brass charms, semi-precious stones, pearls and rhinestones. I love to mix textures within a common color palette while old and new components blend together to create something a bit out of the ordinary.
