Ashley gets under my skin deeper than any image creator. Every time I see her images I feel more alive, more true, closer to seeing straight reality out these two tired eyes of mine. Looking at her photos sends me swiftly swimming through the murky waters of emotion and opening my eyes underwater at last. She looks at the light, the shadow, the people and places at the exact moments when it feels like everyone else is looking away. I wish I could find the right words to say just how much her work means to me.
