Discovering abstract art has been an adventure that goes from the outside to the inside of my
perception.
Since a very early age, I was aware of my ability to portray the world in front of my eyes in a realistic way, but as life passes the discovery of worlds that exist behind your eyes is inevitable, and with it the birth of new senses that you will need to explore with your mind and
soul.
My art is like a walk in worlds unknown, revealed to me as I go, improvised. I never know what they are going to be until it's done, and after that the experience continues like a memory or a souvenir of the trip as I start discovering more and more things in the piece, like creatures or objects hidden in crevices and holes that one cannot perceive with just one
light.
Suddenly I realize that I am exploring another world or dimension. Suddenly I realize that I am having a spiritual experience, that my spirit has been set free into a world where anything can happen and can be done, a spiritual domain, like a lucid
dream.
The message is that to evolve into spirits we need to practice living in the spiritual dimension as often as possible, stretching the limits of our imaginations, detaching from this dimension and proving to ourselves that the universes inside us are as real as this one where we are dreaming the same dream. These pictures are a portrait of these worlds, universes and dimensions. I think that is proof enough that they are as real as this one. Detaching from this world through our minds is the evolution of our
spirit.
