In 2018, I did a 2,000 km journey on foot through Japan.
3 months, walking at my own pace. What a luxury. And a fantastic opportunity to re-discover the country that has been my home for 3 decades.
During this journey I discovered that it takes time to slow down enough to be able to hear that little voice inside, telling me what I really have to do, want to do. I still need to learn to listen more carefully, though.
I continue to walk nearly every day, wherever I am, in nearly any weather. The photos here record what I discover during these walks.

Magnifique galerie qui rend honneur au style japonais épuré... Superbe clichés. La marche à pied et tout à fait propice pour le regard et les réflexions...

Stefan is a very special man. Extremely consistant in his style he sticks to his b+w artistic images with a dark and sometimes lonely soul. Not always though...especially recently he bonds with people, integrating portraits experience and finally organising a well deserved exhibition of his fantastic work. I admire the silence in his images, the skills to deal with the dark and the almost screaming residual light. A fantastic , long enduring research on the dynamic range of exposure and mood. I guess many photographers take inspiration and enjoy your kind company. Be well, Stefan - finding the light !
