Status: I am so behind so I am sorry if people have been waiting months to see images. Back in summer, I finally got a chance to get material up from the Canada Trip. Also adding some images to Wikipedia for subject documentation. I'm conflicted with *new* Flickr. I saw slow rollout of the changes over the years and something was inevitable. This is still a place for me to upload uncompressed images under the parameters of multiple sets and groups.

 

History:

My Nikon D3000 (purchased 11/21/09) broke in July 2012 because I took over 110000 images on it and is out of commission, either permanently or depending on how fixable the problem is, indefinitely. As a result, I purchased a replacement D3100, which now possesses 4 additional MP resolution and a video mode which I did not have on the D3000. As of January 2013, the D3100 is already showing wear on the buttons. As of May 2015, the D3100 is holding together but is indicating it may be reaching the end of its life, too. I have become a MUCH better photographer with its usage.

 

Started a 100 Strangers Project to better my social skills in the big city. Feeling slightly out of place as a Nikon guy in a Canon city. Somewhere around 20-25 strangers; should reorganize.

 

Still To Do:

The third Wisconsin trip in August 2010, including strange Roadside Americana.

The North Shore of Minnesota in May 2010, and the geology expedition with Bob to Iowa in June 2010.

Need to upload 7500 or so photos from those three trips. :S
