I've been dabbling around with photography for a number of years, starting with 35mm film cameras.
When my high-end camera, lenses and accessories were stolen at the end of 2000, I went without photography, but when the withdrawal symptoms became too much to handle I bought a small 3.2 MP Sony to get into digital.
I've since progressed up the ladder to a Canon 60D and a Canon 7Dii and a variety of (expensive) lenses.
For a number of years I was limited as far as time was concerned, but I hope and trust that it will change.
Although I like nature and wild life, I would point the camera at anything that could be considered worthwhile, strange or humorous.
I like to leave photos uncropped as far as possible. Probably a relic from my film days where you had to make sure about your composition before you hit the shutter button.
