Born in Japan, I live on the island of Bali in Indonesia.

My main medium is collage; mixed media art (used to work on wood block printing too).

I see everything as having layers and depth.

I create through the spectrum of my travels, recycle paper and fabric, for example rice paper wrappers, antique kimono fabric, tickets, candy wrappers, soap wrappers, etc.. from Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, China, Laos, Vietnam, USA, Canada, India, Nepal.. wherever I've been.

These works are a fusion of many different cultures and also show my foot prints.

Each piece tells part of a story. Each reflects part of a journey.
