I started to draw when I was four years of age and began my professional career at twenty-one.

I always wanted to be an illustrator, and that's how I started. Soon I included graphic design and concept development. After a few years I created a book on how to do aircraft and space illustrations. It was, with very good critics, sold in the German-speaking countries of Europe. After emigrating to Canada I started as a free-lance illustrator, worked for several years as an art director in ad agencies, and than founded my own advertising agency in Montreal.. At the same time I designed a house, bought a fair-sized piece of property in the Eastern Townships of Quebec and finished the inside of the house with my wife Inge. After a view years in the country I started to paint. About recognition? -There were the write-ups in magazines, trade papers, invitation for lectures,TV interviews and exhibitions of my work. Including a painting in the permanent collection of the Smithonian's Air and Space Museum in Washington,DC. And my funny "Berdz" as porcelain figurines. Now, I'm doing things on a computer.
