It is a culture with unusual work ethics. Cowboys are NOT big talkers, love nature and the natural world in which they live. Cowboys want to die working. Not working for money, working to make things better; working to continue life as they know it. They love the land, the ranch, the cattle, their horses, they know it intimately; in a relationship going back generations they strive to preserve a way of life unique only to those who experience firsthand what it is to work physically hard and play even harder. Unfortunately, these characteristics don't translate nor can one write aptly a description... .. From day one I knew he is THA_MAN!! "Qualche anno fa, quando entrai in flickr, una delle raccolte fotografiche che mi colpì maggiormente fu quella di Ricky tha_man!! Tutte immagini di gran classe, ricche di bellezza e davvero molto interessanti per la varietà dei temi scelti. E da allora ho scelto Ricky come uno dei miei maestri e mi sono ispirato anche ai suoi lavori per creare il mio modo di fotografare. Your eye must see a composition or an expression that life itself offers you, and you must know with intuition when to click the camera. That is the moment the photographer is creative. Oops! The Moment! Once you miss it, it is gone forever.” I look at your collection of photos and feel compelled to write about your skills...From the first photo of your to your most recent work I observe a growing process maturing as time passes. It is a visual trip to a land you call your "Part of me" A land obviously in your blood, in your soul and your family! Your positive point of view is contagious allowing for me to dream...To dream dreams that come true! Sometime I think your work is: Mature The mature work of an artist, as when his work is produced after many years of experience developing their skill to a high level Or, Visionary Because at time you see what I don't; especially and this is true regarding your craft..You see extraordinary beauty in ordinary scenes Or, Abstract Abstract art expresses the artist’s ideas or feelings rather than showing the exact appearance of people or things Or, Aesthetic As in relating to beauty or to the study of the principles of beauty, seen when you capture your rodeo photos! I think is darn cool and awesome. Refreshing and unique are your photos just like you…Those who haven’t gotten to know you are missing out a lot!
