I inherited my first camera at age 15 when my grandfather passed away. It was an Olympus OM-10 film camera, and after learning the basics in high school photography class I was hooked. Developing my own black and white film, and prints in the darkroom became one of my favourite things to do. Setting up shots with friends or still life's lead to a trial by fire approach - I made many mistakes at first but each mistake was actually a blessing because it taught me somthing new.

I work and live in Ottawa, Canada creating websites and graphics for clients as a freelance designer.
