I'm a marine biologist, lecturer and director of the Euakafa Island Research Centre, and have relatively recently become completely addicted to photography. While I'm still taking predominantly underwater photos I've started to become more diversified and see myself moving towards being a more general wildlife and nature photographer these days.

I've won a couple of national and international photographic awards including, Nature's Best Ocean Views 2012 (8th Place), Underwater Photography 2011 (Bronze Medal), Ecological Society of Australia's (1st Place) and more recently had 2 photos in the finals of the Veolia (BBC) Wildlife Photographer of the Year of the Awards for 2012.

I've also been lucky enough to have a few photos published in books and magazines and written a number of articles - most recently an article, along with a number of photos, in the Australian Geographic.
