I see life through two eyes, one seeing what others see, one seeing from a unique perspective; the two blend together into my photos, my writing, my thoughts and my perspective on life.

If life imitates art, aren't we all a photo waiting to be taken, a song waiting to be written, a book yet unpublished. My inspirations come from the things that happen around me, the things that interest me and the people my life intersects with every day. I enjoy nature in every form, good and bad, architecture, and the interactions of people with their environments and each other.

I can only hope to touch something in the lives of those who view my work and that by touching that part of them, they remember; not only my work, but their life, each moment surrounding that point in life where we intersected, even if for a brief point in time.

I enjoy the works of far too many artists to list, but like all artists I have been inspired by many of the artists before me. I give ode to those works that make me want to express mine.

Rich not only takes great photos but has an eye for what needs to be included in the frame. You can clearly see this isn’t just a hobby of Rich’s but a passion. I am always looking forward to seeing his new photos. Keep up the wonderful work Rich!
