I started taking photographs back in the 90's and got some great pics using an Olympus Trip 35 that i got from a car boot sale for pocket money. I remember getting some great positive feedback about some photography i'd done to earn a badge in the cub scouts from one of the parents of one of the other kids, he was a press photographer for a regional newspaper and that helped build my confidence as a kid. By the mid 90's i was using an SLR and things have kept getting better since.

I changed over to mirrorless in about 2014 and mainly use mirrorless, but i do occasionally dabble in film both 35mm and 120mm film, and do my own C41 developing.

I tend to buy and use Olympus cameras as i like lightweight cameras that don't stand out too much in a crowd.
