I'm someone who feels most comfortable in social situations if I've got a camera in front of my face. I love to be behind the camera, but absolutely hate having one pointed at me. My photography interests are varied. I really like taking wedding photos, but I've pretty much run out of people I know who are getting married, especially since moving to Alberta. Otherwise, I tend to be the photographer at gatherings with family or friends. I love to capture moments - candids. My favourite subjects, when I see them, are my nieces and nephew.

I've always loved taking pictures of lanscapes and nature, and I've been fortunate to live in areas that have an abundance of photo oportunities. My husband and I always have photos in mind when travelling and I try hard to capture the scenes as I see them. I tend to be a bit of a WYSIWYG type photographer and feel that the subject looks best as it is in nature. With the exception of using DOF, I rarely manipulate what is in front of me, and I'm not much into photo editing at all. That may change in time, you never can tell.
