Describe ourself is something very interesting, as we can write just what WE want about ouselves or even talk about something we would like to be!

For me, ACTS can say much more than our words.

I believe that the images that I post here in this PHOTOBLOG, can tell a lot about myself, as I really believe that an image can say much more than many words!

Photography TRIES to freeze the time, but the negative can vanish, so as the photographic paper or digital files. We cannot freeze the time (by the way we are warming the planet!!!)

Something very good about photography is that it has no idioms, but is universally understood!!! With these photos, I try to leave my message to the WORLD...

Ricardo Fraga, Brasileiro, natural de Salvador-BA-BRAZIL. Fotógrafo profissional há cerca de 10 anos, já trabalhou com fotojornalismo, banco de imagens e eventos.

Já atuou também como DJ, discotecando música brasileira dos anos 70 e de raiz. Atualmente é aluno de Doutoramento em Portugal, desenvolvendo tese sobre Geoconservação e desenvolvimento sustentável na Chapada Diamantina- Brasil.

Com a união destas ferramentas: a música, as geociências e a fotografia, investigo as interações do Homem com a natureza e o resultado, muitas vezes conflitantes, decorrentes desta relação. Pesquiso sobre a construção do espaço social e antrópico, pela humanidade, cuja origem natural vem sendo muitas vezes negada neste processo...

Me encata o poder da fotografia de retardar o tempo! As imagens acabam congelando instantes e momentos de nossas vidas individuais e "conterraqueanas", permitindo um formato bem interessante e versátil de comunicação!
