baliktanaw is a Filipino (Tagalog) word that means to reminisce or to look back.

Photography is just that - a means of looking back. It is an attempt to recapture the moment, for it can only be that - an attempt. Photographers know that we can never fully recapture the moment but hope that our best effort to do so can impart the sense of awe we feel looking that viewfinder when composing a photo, the joy (or sadness) we share with those we photograph. In my stream are fruits of those attempts, and I am still trying...
