I'm sort of a renaissance gal...Jill-of-all-trades, mistress of a few. I enjoy writing, painting, multi-media art, graphic design and, of course--photography.

My dad was a professional photographer for many years. He also taught photography at SMU in Dallas. So, I guess I come by it genetically. He has helped me greatly with both the technical aspects and the nitty gritty of photography. I credit my "eye" for photographic subjects to my mom--the artist.

I made the transition a couple of years ago to digital. Before that I was a dyed-in-the-wool hardcore manual SLR gal...but I must admit. DIgital SLR is the way to go.

I currently use a Canon Rebel XT. I love it. In the past I used an Olympus OM-1 and a Minolta Maxxum 7000.
