A lot of my photos are taken on my own property, a little piece of this earth just outside of a medium sized city. There's a little patch of woods and a man-made pond; a small flower garden by the house. In the big picture, it's nothing amazing or necessarily beautiful. But when I put small pieces of it into the frame of my camera it sometimes looks amazing!

Since I've become interested in photography, I have also searched out new places to go and see and experience so that I can try to capture something interesting enough to share. Yes, my life was blessed the day I captured a little yellow flower near the pond!
