Over the past year that I have been on flickr I've come to know some truly gifted photographers and I can say without hesitation that Reed is the best of the best out there! His nature and wildlife shots have inspired and uplifted me and continually made me want to be a better photographer. I hope one day to be the type of photographer that he is and what a down to earth guy he is. I consider Reed a good friend and I hope you can come to appreciate his work as I and others have come to do.

When I discovered Reeds photostream, the first thing that attracted me was the raw beauty displayed in his photographs. However, the more I became familiar with his photography, the more I saw that his images were not only very beautiful, but also unique. He is not like every other landscape photographer on the block. He knows his craft and he does it very well, but he also has that certain gene se qua that transcends technical know-how and enters into the realm of sheer talent.

I am in awe of his wildlife photos and get lost in his exceptional landscape captures. Anyone can snap a photo...and then there are those that are able to capture a "feeling" in their photograph...Reed has that special talent. I am happy to have found such a wonderful flickr friend!! If your quiet and surrounded by people you will hear “Did you see that!” His pictures reflect that essence. I am compelled to visit his site regularly to see what this man sees. I'm amazed that I am the first to post a testimonial for Reed. He is in my opinion one of the finest nature and wildlife photographers I have ever known. His work is uniformly sharp, well composed and very well seen. I look at this images and mutter to myself, "Damn, I wish I had taken that..." He has captured the area around Yellowstone and brought it to Flickr for all to enjoy. I am proud and pleased to count him as a friend.
