I learned darkroom tech (b&w) as I started college (1974), soon after I got a Pentax Spotmatic, then a Leica M3, already 20years old, but still perfectly working to this day.
Kept doing it for some time, but less and less as years went by.
Recently I got a digital dslr (2007) and have renewed my interest in photography.
