I'm a Newfoundlander, in love with the ocean and the wind and the serrated shores of home. Until recently I thought it was impossible for photography to do justice to the sky and the sea. What I can do with a camera is to show some of the aspects of the plenum that appeal to me. While I may not be succesful, I'm having fun trying.

I am always fascinated by what Rexton comes up with photographically, as he has a wonderful eye for detail, atmosphere and composition. Equally importantly, he has the technical photographic ability to render his impressions with exquisite clarity, mastery and ingenuity. A wander through his pictures most days because he shoots the world I know with the characteristics I want always to see in it; beauty, intricacy, fascination and awe.
