40 something amateur photographer from Melbourne, Australia.

I enjoy taking photos of old buildings and modern architecture, and discovering the history behind those buildings. It saddens me that we have lost so much of our history through poor planning and redevelopment driven purely by profits.

I now work in IT, but I was previously a professional gardener and have maintained my love of gardens, trees and flowers, especially roses. I'm also big into fly fishing and wine & food.

The cakes you see in my photo stream are all the work of my talented wife Vanessa, who is currently studying part time to be a patisserie chef.
